§ Mrs. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what progress has been made with the Turkish authorities to obtain compensation for United Kingdom citizens who suffered loss and damage following the invasion of Cyprus.
§ Mr. HattersleyFollowing our repeated representations, the Turkish Cypriot authorities have announced that they are shortly to set up a commission to consider certain categories of claims. We are at present considering the implications of this development.
