§ Mr. StrangNot at the present time. My right hon. Friend would, however, be willing to ask the Food Additives and Contaminants Committee to consider any evidence submitted to him that there is a need to use cyclamates in food and that such use can be permitted without hazard to the health of consumers. Future action would then be decided in the light of the recommendations made by the committer: and of comments received on them.
