§ Mr. BishopUnited Kingdom butter production in 1974 was 52,700 tons and estimated consumption was 471,000 tons. Separate figures for production in Wales are not available. New Zealand and EEC countries other than Italy were the major sources of imports, which accounted for some 89 per cent. of new supplies in 1974.
