HC Deb 15 December 1975 vol 902 c514W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many children are currently being educated at bilingual secondary schools in Wales; and what are the projected figures for September 1976, September 1977 and September 1978, respectively.

Mr. John Morris

There were 4,941 pupils in the eight designated Welsh secondary schools in January 1975. I cannot foresee what the figures for subsequent years will be.
