The price of milk is also subject to statutory control. My right hon. Friend has no plans to introduce maximum prices on any further goods. However, she hopes to obtain the agreement of industry to restrain prices voluntarily on a wide range of consumer goods within a 5 per cent. limit over a period of six months, starting early in the New Year.
