§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when a reply will be given to the memorandum embodying the joint views of the Committee for Rescue Archaeology of the Ancient Monuments Board (Department of the Environment) and the Standing Commission on Museums and Galleries, which was sent to his Department on 15th September and which urged central Government support for the care of material and records derived from rescue archaeology at local museums.
