§ Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list in the Official Report those projects in Liverpool that have been submitted to his Department for consideration for a grant under the most recent urban aid programme.
Mr. Alexander W. Lyon: The projects proposed by Liverpool District Council are as follows:
Capital
- Indoor Sports Complex, Wavertree Playground.
- Three Grassed Football Pitches, Toxteth Street.
- Day Care Centre for the Mentally ill.
- Adventure Playground for Handicapped children.
- Stage 1 of recreation/amenity area at Woodlands, Netherley.
- All weather pitch, Fernie Street.
- Children's playground extension to existing hard surface play area, Bronte Street.
- Amenity grassed/tree area—extension to existing play area, Thames Street.
- Playground construction on eyesore area—extension to existing hard surface area, Beacon Lane.
- Playground construction, Wavcrtree Vale.
104 - Amenity area with children's playground on disused and abandoned bowling greens, Great George Square.
- Provision of two grassed football pitches, Blenheim Street.
- All weather football pitch with adventure playground, Norwood Grove.
- Playground and playing fields. (Phase 1 of larger scheme.) All weather pitch, Menzies Street.
Non-capital
- Libraries Service for the Elderly, Handicapped and Housebound.
- Good Neighbour Scheme.
