§ Dr. GilbertThe regulation, which has applied to international transport since April 1973, is due to come into force for internal journeys on 1st January 1976. However, I have sought a deferment of the latter date, except in so far as it affects drivers' ages. I will make a further statement after the meeting of the EEC Council of Ministers (Transport) on 10th–11th December.
