Mr. Alan WilliamsThere are no legislative requirements governing quality control on imported industrial equipment. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to satisfy himself that the equipment is of acceptable quality for his purposes. Industrial equipment accounts for only a small part of our imports from the USSR.
