§ Mr. ConcannonVandalism, theft and the scarcity of certain types of skilled worker have resulted in a poor response to invitations to tender for housing contracts in the West Belfast area. Nevertheless, since November 1974 the use of alternative methods of contract and construction has led to the approval of eight schemes involving the construction of 622 dwellings in the area.
