§ 11. Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement about the future rôle of the Northern Ireland Finance Corporation.
§ Mr. OrmeThe Government intend to introduce legislation early next year to revise the rôle and powers of the Northern Ireland Finance Corporation. It will in future be called the Northern Ireland Development Agency. Its powers will be analogous to those of the National Enterprise Board and the Scottish and Welsh Development Agencies.
