§ Mr. O'MalleyThe rates of benefit under the industrial injuries, war pensions and supplementary benefit schemes608W do not discriminate as between men and women. As regards national insurance benefits, the Social Security Pensions Act 1975 which comes into effect on 6th April 1978 provides that women will pay the same contributions as men with the same earnings and will receive the same rates of benefit.
