§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what will be the earliest date on which a disabled housewife will be able to receive a disablement pension.
§ Mr. Alfred MorrisThe housewives' non-contributory invalidity pension, to which I assume the hon. Member is referring, is not a disablement pension as such but a benefit for those housewives who are incapable of paid work and of doing their housework. As I explained my reply to the hon. Member for Hastings (Mr. Warren) on 25th November, it is not yet possible to say when payment can begin.—[Vol. 901, c.148.]
