§ Dr. GilbertYes. I intend to include some basic first-aid advice, including resuscitation techniques, in the next version532W of the Highway Code. While it is in everyone's interest to be familiar with basic first aid practices, the driving test is a test of competence to drive and I am not convinced that the inclusion of questions about these techniques would be appropriate.
