asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether it is his policy that Great Britain should attempt to increase its share of the North Atlantic air market; and if so, to what extent.

Yes. Our share is increasing this year, and we want to see further increases so long as they are profitable for British carriers against the background of the current difficult economic conditions.
