§ Sir Bernard Braineasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will propose to the International Whaling Commission a 10-year moratorium from whaling in order to prevent the inevitable extermination of certain species of whale and also to allow whale stocks generally to recover from excessive exploitation.
