£ RUC 25,941,000 RUC Reserve 4,713,000 UDR Full-time 2,850,000 UDR Part-time 4,375,000 A figure for the total amount being spent by private and public bodies on security in Northern Ireland is not available. However, the total this financial year will include an estimated £45,532,000 for police services and £2,327,000 for the civilian search unit. Last year, the extra cost of military operations in Northern Ireland was approximately £45,000,000; this included the full cost of the Ulster Defence Regiment.
