§ Mr. PeartNo precise estimate is possible at this stage. The wet and cold weather in recent weeks adversely affected grass growth and pasture conditions and impeded spring cultivation and sowings. But some good drying days now will make a great deal of difference. I am keeping a close watch on the situation, and my advisory officers are available to help farmers wherever they can.
