§ Sir John Gilmourasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what acreages of land in Scotland have been planted with trees during the last six months by the Forestry Commission and by private woodland owners, respectively.
§ Mr. William RossIt is estimated that, during the six months ended 31st March, 1975, the Forestry Commission has planted about 16,200 acres in Scotland. Corresponding figures for the private sector are not yet available, but I shall write to the hon. Member in due course.
