§ Mr. James Johnsonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what progress he has made regarding the implementation of a common fisheries policy in the EEC.
§ Mr. BishopConsiderable progress has been made on the implementation in the United Kingdom of the marketing provisions of the EEC's common fisheries policy. The common fisheries policy as a whole is still evolving, and the United Kingdom is contributing in discussions within the Community to the development of policy in other areas and to the amendment of the existing policy in areas where experience has shown change to be necessary.
