§ Mr. BoothThis factory was closed down at the end of March. In July officials of my Department endeavoured to assist management and the union to reach an agreement on a basis for reopening the factory but this did not prove possible. Either side can of course 239W approach the Conciliation and Arbitration Service if they feel that its assistance might be helpful.
