HC Deb 27 November 1974 vol 882 cc162-3W
Mrs. Bain

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) how many full-time medical auxiliaries are employed by each Scottish education authority;

(2) how many part-time medical auxiliaries are employed by each Scottish education authority.

Mr. William Ross

The term "medical auxiliaries" is not in current use and I do not know what grades of staff the hon. Member has in mind. In general, medical personnel are not now employed by education authorities since the school health service was transferred to health boards on 1st April 1974.
