§ Mr. Buchananasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when the assimilation of the staffs of the Scottish Central Library into the National Library of Scotland staff structure will be finalised.
§ Mr. William RossI regret that full assimilation was delayed by the stage 3 Pay Code but the staff of the Scottish Central Library have been absorbed into the National Library of Scotland on their existing terms of employment. A job evaluation review is under way and I understand that full assimilation should be effected by the end of March next year.
