§ Mr. MacCormickasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make arrangements to pay the island grant subsidy through the same channels as the lime subsidy.
§ Mr. William RossPayment as a supplement to the lime subsidy looks less suitable than other possible methods but I am still considering the matter and I shall consult the Scottish NFU and the Crofters Commission before reaching a decision.
