§ Mr. Higginsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether landlords supplying central heating for their tenants in furnished accomodation subject to rent control may pass on the higher costs of fuel in higher rents or by raising their service charges if these are made separately.
§ Mr. KaufmanMy right hon. Friend will shortly make an order which will have the effect of extending the private sector rent freeze to 31st March 1975 but will permit rent increases which do not exceed rises in fuel costs incurred.
