§ Sir Anthony Royleasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many cars from 319W the Ministry of Defence Pool are on call to holders of particular appointments at Air Marshal or equivalent level and above; what are the numbers of individual officers concerned; and what is the number of occasions in the last 12 months that cars have been assigned to individuals.
§ Mr. William RodgersThirty-five cars are on call to 35 holders of senior appointments at levels equivalent to Air Marshal or above. A further three cars are on call on a shared basis to thirteen holders of senior appointments at the Air Marshal or equivalent level. All these cars are made available for general pool use when not required by designated individuals.
