§ Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Trade what decision he has now reached about the proposed change of title for the Institution of Works Managers; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe proposed change was originally rejected a long time ago because the title sought was considered too all-embracing. This rejection was reaffirmed in a ministerial letter to the president of the institution on 30th August 1974 but at the same time an alternative which would be acceptable was indicated. We are awaiting a response.
