§ Mr. Geraint Howellsasked the Secretary of State for Wales what plans he has for increasing financial support to local authorities in Wales for the financial year 1975–76.
§ Mr. John MorrisThe major Government support to local authority expenditure in Wales is the rate support grant. Proposals on the amount and distribution of rate support grant in England and Wales in 1975–76 will be put to local authority representatives later this month. The amount which will go to local authorities in Wales will depend on the settlement finally reached.
