§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will call for a report from the police about the disorder at Hatfield Polytechnic on 16th May and that at Portsmouth Polytechnic on 17th May; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Dr. SummerskillWe have received reports from the Chief Constables of Hertfordshire and of Hampshire. The meetings were on private property and the police were not asked to intervene. The police have received no complaints or allegations of criminal offences having been committed.
