§ Mr. Tom Kingasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection whether she will exempt domestic heating installations and appliances from the Hire Purchase and Credit Sale Order 323W 2129 of 1973, in view of the problems of industry and the risk of substantial redundancies.
Mr. Alan WiliamsThe industry has put its case for exemption to me and subsequently to the Department of Industry. This is being carefully examined. Once this examination is complete I shall be in a position to announce a decision.
