§ Mr. Grahamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in view of the report of the Social Unit on Industrial Air Pollution by the Alkali Inspectorate, he will give consideration both to increasing the number of alkali inspectors and to ensuring that more information is given to the public of the investigations and actions of the inspectorate.
§ Mr. CroslandI intend asking the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution to set up an urgent review of the whole system of air pollution control and to report in a year. I am sure that the inquiry will wish to consider all the issues raised in the Social Audit Report, including those mentioned by my hon. Friend.
