asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will set up a register of pensioners so that benefit changes and concessions can be the more easily notified to all pensioners.

I do not think a further register, in addition to those already maintained by my Department and by local authorities, would achieve the purposes which my hon. Friend has in mind.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if reference to form BR464, giving information about four-weekly and quarterly pension payments, is included in information supplied to pensioners.

The next reprint of the leaflet dealing with four-weekly and quarterly payments will include a reference to form BR464, but my hon. Friend will appreciate that it may be some months before stocks of the current print are exhausted.
