§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to reinstate and compensate illegal immigrants who would be entitled to benefit from his amnesty but have been deported.
§ Mr. Alexander W. LyonIllegal entrants who would have benefited from the decision my right hon. Friend announced on 11th April will be allowed to return. They will need to obtain entry clearances first. No compensation will be payable.
