§ Dr. SummerskillThe Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police tells me that a farmer heard a report which rattled his windows late at night on 28th February, but when he examined his house he found no damage. On 28th March while working in a field near his home he saw an electricity pylon which was buckled at ground level. The police are investigating the incident.
