HC Deb 03 May 1974 vol 872 c261W
Mr. Raison

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the explosion at Bledlow Bridge, Buckinghamshire, on 28th February.

Dr. Summerskill

The Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police tells me that a farmer heard a report which rattled his windows late at night on 28th February, but when he examined his house he found no damage. On 28th March while working in a field near his home he saw an electricity pylon which was buckled at ground level. The police are investigating the incident.
