Mr. Davidson

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he will make a statement at the Council of Ministers of the European Communities about the United Kingdom position on renegotiation of the United Kingdom's terms of entry to the EEC.

Mr. James Callaghan

I intend making a statement in the council at the meeting in Luxembourg on Monday 1st April. The text of my statement will be published in a White Paper.
