§ Mr. Stanleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the Snodland bypass is now included in the Department's firm road programme; 130W and what are the estimated dates for the start of construction and the opening of this bypass.
§ Mr. CarmichaelThe Snodland and Hailing bypass is not in the firm principal roads programme. It will be financed under the new transport block grant system coming into operation on 1st April 1975. Its timing is a matter for the local highway authority, the Kent County Council.
