HC Deb 27 March 1974 vol 871 c130W
Mr. Money

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, with regard to the two recent fatalities involving young children on Henley Road, Ipswich, he will review the applicability of his Department's criteria regarding the establishing of a crossing to be used by schoolchildren on this particular road.

Mr. Mulley

No. I share the hon. Member's concern but a recent survey shows that a crossing cannot be justified here even on the new criteria which will shortly be issued by my Department.
