asked the Minister for the Civil Service how many civil servants have had no salary increase in the period since Members' salaries were last increased.

All Civil Service grades have had pay increases since January 1972. A very few individuals may, because of their particular circumstances or terms of appointment, have remained in receipt of the same pay.
