HC Deb 25 March 1974 vol 871 cc28-9W
Sir Derek Walker-Smith

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement as to his consideration of the interim report of Mr. George Dobry, Q.C., on Review of the Development Control System.

Mr. Crosland

I greatly welcome Mr. Dobry's valuable interim report and look forward to receiving final fully worked out recommendations after he concludes his further investigations, consultations and hearings of oral evidence. Meanwhile, I have agreed to practical testing of some of his proposals and am ensuring that everything possible is being done to expedite appeals.
