§ Mr. Ovendenasked the Secretary of State for Employment what plans have been initiated for the establishment of a sheltered workshop for the disabled in the Gravesend area or elsewhere in North-West Kent.
§ Mr. BoothA proposal by the Kent County Council to build a 50–60 place sheltered workshop in the Medway area, to cater for the needs of severely disabled people in North-West Kent, including Gravesend, has been approved in principle, and the authority is currently looking for a suitable site.
