Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she will make a statement on her policy regarding three-wheeled vehicles for the disabled; and when she expects to end the issue of this type of vehicle.

Mr. Arthur Davidson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in view of increased costs, she will increase the allowance of £100 per annum currently payable to disabled persons in respect of their cars.

Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will review policy in respect of the type of invalid vehicles issued to disabled persons.

Mr. Alfred Morris

Decisions on the future of the invalid vehicle service must await the outcome of consultations with interested organisations in the light of Lady Sharp's report, which is to be published on 25th March.
