§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what proposals Her Majesty's Government are currently making, or intend to make, within the International Monetary Fund for the reform of international monetary arrangements.
§ Mr. DellHer Majesty's Government are participating fully in the work of the Committee of Twenty established by the IMF to consider international monetary reform. The committee's deputies are meeting next week and again in May. The committee itself aims to complete as far as possible its work on the main features of a future reformed system at its meeting in June, after which it will assume operational functions in the surveillance of the monetary system.
