Mr. David Price

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what is his estimate of the output value of the British glasshouse industry for each of the last 10 years; how much has been invested in the industry for each of these 10 years as a direct result of the horticulture improvement scheme; and what has been the annual contribution from public funds for each of these 10 years;

(2) what is his estimate of the annual output of the British glasshouse industry
