Separate details of absenteeism for face workers and male surface workers at 538W National Coal Board collieries are not readily available. Figures of precentage absenteeism overall have been published in United Kingdom Energy Statistics and in the Monthly Digest of Statistics. Overall absenteeism figures for the latest four weeks available are as follows (corresponding figures for 1973 in brackets):
