HC Deb 24 June 1974 vol 875 cc327-8W
Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Chairman of the Services Committee why the price of an orange in the Members' Dining Room is 12½p as against 5½p in the Members' Tea Room.

Mr. Dunn

I have been asked to reply.

The price of an orange in the Members' Dining Room ought to be 6½p, and 5½p in the Members' Tea Room. These prices are adjusted if the oranges are very small. I am aware that a mistaken charge was recently quoted to an hon. Member, but this has been corrected.
