Prisoners can exercise in the open air in the prison yard where there are facilities for playing netball and can use the prison gymnasium containing health studio equipment. Games such as table tennis, darts, chess, monopoly and cards may be played in the recreational areas and television is available. There are facilities for handicrafts and an experienced handicrafts teacher attends the prison each week.
