HC Deb 20 June 1974 vol 875 c221W
Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will introduce amending legislation to the Land Compensation (Scotland) Act 1973 to provide for home loss payments to displaced owner-occupiers and tenants where the building has been declared dangerous under a dean of guild warrant as a result of improvement work on or demolition of adjacent properties by the local authority.

Mr. William Ross

I do not know of any cases where a Dangerous Buildings Order has been placed on a building as a result of the activities of the local authority in an adjacent property. If my hon. Friend has a particular case in mind perhaps he would write to me with the details.
