asked the Secretary of State for Defence when he hopes to make a statement on the future use of Park Hall Camp, Oswestry.

We expect to be able to make an announcement next week.

Mr. Biffen

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many teaching staff on the Junior Leaders' Course at Park Hall have been advised of impending redundancies and from what date; and whether redundancy payments may be claimed by the teaching staff if alternative employment is secured by them notwithstanding any alteration in the closure plans at Park Hall.

None of the teaching staff at Park Hall Camp has yet been declared redundant or officially notified of impending redundancy.
