§ Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will consider the recommendations on recycling paper contained in the document People Prefer Paper, a copy of which is in his possession, in so far as these suggest ways of reducing the United Kingdom's paper imports.
§ Mr. MeacherI am currently considering what contribution the Government might make towards a sustained increase in waste paper collection and usage and I shall take into account the views expressed by all interested parties.
