HC Deb 10 June 1974 vol 874 c441W
Mr. Churchill

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has for the provision of crash barriers along the section of the M63 motorway which passes through Davyhulme, Lancashire.

Mr. Carmichael

The M63, where it passes through Davyhulme, is a principal road motorway. Greater Manchester is the highway authority. Central barrier and lighting have been in existence since 1972. Barriers are also provided on the motorway verges where appropriate.
